Last week, was the kickoff time in almost iii years that I completely took a break from my day job AND blogging. I had no posts scheduled, no DIY projects planned and no paperwork to complete. Instead, I enjoyed the beach, sun and time with my family.

After I was washed painting and ready to apply the wax I realized my wax brush had hardened, stale out and badly needed cleaning. If you use chalk paint and wax to pigment furniture and then you know these brushes are not cheap. I paid effectually $30 for mine, but it has lasted me through countless projects and was definitely well worth the coin.
I'k ashamed to say that I had never cleaned my wax castor earlier. I always placed the brush in a plastic purse for subsequently use. Eventually, the wax congenital upward, hardened and I had no choice merely to give information technology a skillful cleaning. SUPPLIES NEEDED TO Clean WAX BRUSHES:
- Mason jar
- Warm h2o
STEP 1
Fill a mason jar with plenty Mineral Spirits to comprehend the wax coated bristles. Lightly press the tips of the beard confronting the bottom and sides of the jar to loosen the wax. Allow the brush sit down about two minutes. The wax will start to dissolve in the Mineral Spirits.
Step 2
Gently rinse and massage beard under warm-hot water and dish soap until clean.

Rinse and Hang or lay flat to dry out
